Made by Hand
Everything in this gallery was made by a person’s hands. That sounds obvious — but it isn’t, not anymore. In a world of digital reproduction and machine production, the handmade object carries something that can’t be replicated: the record of a decision, a mark, a choice made in real time.
Solid gold and silver shaped by a jeweler. Fabric dyed with plants and pressed with leaves. Watercolor that follows the brush where it wants to go. A clock built from wood, one piece at a time. Photographs taken with patience and intention — and then worked further, interpreted, made into something more. These works exist because someone’s hands made them exist.
