Contemporary Art on the California Coast

Mirada Art is an artist-founded gallery on historic Main Street in the heart of downtown Half Moon Bay, California. Founded in 2017, we’ve built something a little different: a space where artists own their work, keep the majority of their sales, and show alongside peers whose work they respect.

Art is a conversation between the artist and the collector. We believe that conversation goes deeper when there’s a real idea behind a show — not just a rotation of work, but a curated exhibition with a point of view. Each of our exhibitions is built around a central theme, with storytelling on the walls and online that gives collectors a genuine way into the work and the people who made it.

Our exhibitions feature painters, photographers, jewelers, and textile artists — all rooted in the natural world and this coast. You'll often find artists in the gallery, ready to talk about their work and their process. We think that's part of what makes a visit to Mirada Art worth the stop.

We’re open Thursday through Monday, 11am to 5pm, and we participate in First Fridays: Art on Main each month. Exhibitions rotate every four weeks — check our current show, browse our artists, or view the full exhibition calendar to plan your visit.

Mirada Art is always looking to grow. If you’re an artist interested in showing with us, we’d love to hear from you.
